May and June were very busy months.  July and August are shaping up the same, plenty of Weddings and other Celebrations.  Remember the earlier you call the better chance you have of getting a Vonnie Cake.  Busy weekends this summer are proving to book up quickly.  I will also be gone the first 2 weeks of August on Vacation, so I will not be available then.  Have a Great Summer! "Is it a Vonnie Cake?" is my dream come true to turn my hobby into a business.  I've been decorating since I was about 9 years old.  My hobby was minimal during college and starting work.  After moving to Chamberlain to work I started getting more and more requests.  Whenever there was a cake for a special occasion people began to ask "Is it a Vonnie Cake?"  When my husband and I decided to change our careers in 2007, I started my journey to owning my own cake business.  I now have a SD state licensed kitchen at my home.       I specialize in custom decorated cakes, cookies and cupcakes for weddings, birthdays or any special occasion.  I also make other treats such as brownies, muffins, candies and pies when requested.
